We recommend adult dogs & cats have an annual examination, lab work & consultation about their life stage & medical conditions. For senior pets over 10-12 years old, we recommend a check-up every 6 months.

FLUIDS REHYDRATION THERAPY
Like administering water to a wilting plant, treating pets with fluids can make recovery time faster. IV (intravenous) and SQ (subcutaneous) fluids are specially formulated liquids that are injected to prevent or treat dehydration. They are used in pets of all ages who are sick, injured, dehydrated from exercise or heat, or undergoing surgery. It is no more painful than a typical injection, although the needle is slightly larger than those used for injection. No surgery or anesthesia is required—a microchip can be implanted during our home care visits.
Facts: San Antonio requires all dogs have a microchip as part of their city registration.
